Pastor Sam joined international mega-church Hillsong Church and shortly after joining the church, allegations against Hillsong Church specifically in their New York location leading to long chain of events including Pastor Sam leaving the church just 9 months after coming aboard.
Pastor Sam shared that he was faced with a tough decision to save his parishioners and start Story Church Atlanta. Pastor Sam shares that his story was part of the inspiration behind creating his new church, Story Church. Pastor Sam also shared he is releasing a brand new version of his show 'A Greater Story' with all new guests, familiar faces and real people's stories.
