Rashad Richey Says Stop Arresting Kids For Selling Water

Recently, footage of what appeared to be young teens being arrested by the Atlanta Police Department for selling water surfaced. Former State Representative Ralph Long came on the Rashad Richey Morning Show to discuss the incident and had a different point of view than Richey on the matter.

Richey says arresting kids for selling water should never happen. He also added that children in suburban communities have lemonade stands with no permits, but they operate without fear of arrest and are even praised for their entrepreneurial spirit.

During the contentious discussion, Richey reminded the former state representative that the City of Atlanta has other options to handle these situations, rather than arrest.

Ralph Long maintained that these kids "mean-mug" him, are aggressive and should follow the rules.
