Rashad Richey Exclusive: Lecrae Says He Should Have Spoken Up To "White Blessings" Comment

Grammy Award Winning hip hop artist and songwriter Lacrae discussed his recent race relation discussions with Pastor Louie Giglio. In the conversation, Pastor Giglio, a white male, said whites do not like the term “white privilege” and he prefers it to be called“white blessings”. 


Lecrae explained that his head nod was not an agreement to Giglio's remark. He further expressed disagreement with the new terminology and said he should have been more forceful in the moment, but learned a valuable lesson.


Lecrae was recently seen standing with protesters in Atlanta, GA and has a long track record of standing up for the black community. Lecrae also said he felt the conversation should have happened in private first. Listen to the full interview below.
