California State Representative Judy Chu and Juandolyn Stokes of On Point with Juandolyn Stokes discuss the lasting effect of Former President Donald Trump and the rise in crime against Asian Communities across the nation.

Recently on, OPWJS, Juandolyn was joined by California Congresswoman, Rep. Judy Chu to discuss the increased attacks against members of the Asian community.
According to Rep. Chu, attacks against the Asian community have increased over the last year amid former President Trump's constant reference to the Corona Virus originating from China, thus stigmatizing Asians. Rep. Chu was not shy about calling out the attacks against members of her community for the blatant hatred towards Asians, particularly women.
Rep Chu and others have solicited the help of the Tri-Caucus including the Congressional Black Caucus, the Hispanic Caucus, and the Asian Caucus to work with the Biden Administration's Justice Department to develop anti-hate programs for the Asian community.
