Sr. Vice President and Executive Director Kim Write came on On Point with Juandolyn Stokes to discuss National Wear Red Day and more.
On Wednesday, Juandolyn Stokes was joined by Kim Wright, Sr. Vice President and Executive Director of Metro Atlanta American Heart Association to kick of National Wear Red Day on Friday, February 5.
Many buildings in the city of Atlanta will be joining the celebration and going red too including Atlanta City Hall, Hartsfield-Jackson Airport, the King and Queen buildings etc. The purpose is to raise awareness about heart heart, the number 1 killer of women; heart disease is the number killer in the U.S.
Wright says they want to encourage women to focus on themselves including their nutrition and exercise regiments to protect their health. Women are invited to visit: Wear Red Day.org to get access to resources and join the movement!
