Juandolyn Stokes of On Point with Juandolyn Stokes and CEO Hakeem Webb discuss some sound financial advice including how to maximize your stimulus check.
Thursday's special guest on, OPWJS was Hakeem Webb, Founder and CEO of National Christian Financial Advisors who dropped in to offer some sage advice to listeners including: do not spend all of your stimulus money on bills and how to save when you're already broke.
Webb says he did not become an expert by studying, but by experiencing the same challenges he offers financial advice on this clients. Webb says poor people consume, middle income people pay their bills, and rich people invest. While he does not advocate financial irresponsibility, he does advocate paying essential bills and negotiating the rest. The key to saving when you are already broke is to implement 10-10-30-50 rule.
