Dr. James Lillard, Associate Dean for Research and Program Director for the Master of Science in Biotechnology Program and Dr. Angelita Howard, Director of Online Education and Expanded Programs, both came on The Rashad Richey Morning Show to discuss Morehouse School of Medicine's (MSM) new 5-week online summer initiative in Biotechnology. This course bridges the gap between biotechnology and bio-entrepreneurship and provides a pipeline to MSM's one-year online Master of Science in Biotechnology.

The 5-week summer program is tuition free due to a partnership between the United Negro College Fund, MSM and the AUC.

Participants may also qualify for a financial stipend at the end of the five weeks, and will be eligible for a partial scholarship for the Master of Science in Biotechnology if they choose to register for the program.

Current college juniors and seniors may qualify. Also, individuals who have a completed an undergraduate degree are encouraged to apply.
