This week on, OPWJS Law and Legal segment with CK Hoffler, Juandolyn and her guests discussed voter suppression, particularly in Georgia. Juandolyn and CK were joined by Rev. Jesse Jackson Sr, Tonya Clay House, Helen Butler, Robert Patillo, Barbara Arnwine, and Leslie Fields; all champions in the area of voting rights.
Rev. Jackson started the conversation by acknowledging that today's Republicans are yesterdays southern Democrats who have always worked to suppress the right to vote. Patillo added that Republicans in Georgia cannot win without voter suppression.
HR1 and HR4 will be efforts to thwart the attempts of those who are working to keep eligible people from voting.
