JOCI CAKES

Midday Crunch has the amazing opportunity to talk with Joci, owner and celebrity baker of Joci Cakes LLC. She talked about her ups and downs as an entrepreneur, how she started her business, and how she keeps her business trending.



Joci was just like the rest of us with a 9-5 type job, and would bake on the side for fun. Then one day her life got flipped upside down when she lost her job. She took her baking skill set and decided it was time to be her own boss. She told Keishaun and I how she never wanted to be at someone else's beck and call ever again. Joci talked about how owning her own business was what she felt was the best option to spend time with her two daughters, and family. That was over ten years ago. Starting in her kitchen, Joci has turned her business into a successful store front in Tucker, GA.




Customers can enjoy Joci Jars, Cheat Eats, and so many other yummy treats like German Chocolate Cake, carrot cake, keylime pie cake, and much more. You can visit Joci's store here. One of the best parts about talking with Joci was she told us about how important it is to be prepared as a business owner for high times and low times, and that she is always preparing for the next level everyday.
