Felipe G. and Nay Star hangs out with Midday Crunch

It's not everyday that you get to sit in the presence of a creative director and an up and coming musical sensation, but when you do, you know you can find them at Midday Crunch. Keishaun Da Don and I had the amazing opportunity to hang out with some new friends this week! We had the honor of having Creative Director, Felipe G., and new musical sensation, Nay Star join us in the hot seats while we got the inside scoop on what they've been working on and what's coming up in the future.

Felipe G. is probably one of the most skillful people you could ever meet in your life. He served in our armed forces, was in hair and make up, moved over to styling, photography, videography and now to creative director. So you might be thinking if this man is successful as he is why haven't I heard of him before, well the truth is you have! If you are familiar with 2 Chainz, Jimmy Fallon, the Sister Circle, and even Real House Wives of Atlanta, then you have seen his work before. Felipe recently worked with Migos, Lil Baby, Take Off, Lil Yachty, and many more.

We were able to talk to this creative genius to see where it all began, and he said the truth is he was the weird kid all his life, and that he had to learn to stay true to himself, and that now it works in his favor because he sees haters from back in the day wanting to bask in his glory. We asked Felipe about how he started in hair and ended at creative director, and he said he was tired of the pain he would feel in his hands from doing hair and one day there was an opening to style Fabulous and so he jumped at the opportunity. The rest was history, as he grew his brand and his name people knew who he was and that they had to have him on set making decisions.





Nay Star is a rising star in the music community. She is set to release several new singles over the course of 2019 and 2020 leading to an EP. During her free time she love to dance, to work out, and to work on a healthy diet with nutrition. Nay told Keishaun and I about how she got her unique sound from being part Trinidadian, and her father owning a record store here in Atlanta. Nay says that singing and dancing is an escape for her, and that when she has to escape from that she works out.

One of the most incredible things about Nay is how hard she is working, and how she is still trying to find more time in her already busy schedule to give back to others, whether it is through teaching dance to young girls, or trying to be a community leader and mentor. Nay just released her latest music video 7 Keys which you can watch right here. Nay says the one thing she wants people to know when she is performing is how much she loves people, and how she loves love and that she wants people to truly enjoy her music and listening to her perform.


Keishaun Da Don and I had an incredible time with Felipe G. and Nay Star on Midday Crunch! It was definitely an honor to be in the same room with two super incredibly talented people.
